From Thursday May 7 – Saturday May 9, 2026 Central Highlands musicians and vocalists have the opportunity to participate in intensive band and choir workshops led by band conductor David Law and choral director Kylie Los. The workshops are open to all musicians regardless of ability levels with several different bands and choirs on offer. Musicians participating in the workshops will need to be available to attend all the scheduled rehearsals at the Emerald Town Hall for their allocated band and/or choir in addition to the performance on the Saturday afternoon. The cost of participating in the band or choral workshops is FREE with the Participant Registration form [Form 1] (below) and Media Release form [Form 2] (above) to submitted via this page. If you have any further questions regarding these workshops, please reach out to us.
The concert is open to families, friends, and the wider Central Highlands community, with ticket proceeds dedicated to sustaining our festival. These funds assist with various aspects of our festival, including sheet music, stage production, and hosting accomplished conductors and touring musicians who serve as sources of inspiration for our community. We’d like to invite you to encourage friends and family to secure tickets at your earliest convenience. This support is crucial for maintaining the continuity of the festival and ensuring its accessibility to our growing musical community.
